In 2009 Terra Select GmbH & Co. KG saw a need to expand to the North American market.
In May of 2010 they opened Terra Select Inc. a U.S. based company. Among their own screening line Terra Select Inc. is the exlusive distributor of
Haas slow speed shredder for the US market.
They hired Doug Sites to handle the sales and set-up distribution throughout the country and over see the operations.
Doug has over 25 years in the screening industry with a focus on trommel screens for most of that time.
In 2012 Terra Select Inc. expanded again and hired Dipl.-Ing. Malte Herrmann. He moved over from Germany where he studied environmental engineering
with the main focus waste management. During his study he worked for Terra Select in their workshop. After some month working as a Site Engineer in
Christchurch, New Zealand at a tunnel composting facility, he wrote his diploma thesis at AUDI AG about aluminium recycling and worked nearly
two years for Volkswagen in the research and development department at their main facility in Wolfsburg, Germany.
After the reorganization of Terra Select Inc. Doug Sites, based in Orem, Utah, is responsible for the West-US and Malte Herrmann, based in
Baltimore, Maryland is responsible for the East-US.
Terra Select Inc has their main warehouse in Baltimore, Maryland and one in Orem, Utah.

Terra Select GmbH & Co. KG was founded in the year 2003. The partners of Terra Select are Andreas Farwick, Bernd Farwick, Christian Farwick
and grad. eng. Ernst Herrmann.
The Farwick brothers have acquired the know-how in the production of Trommel screening machines from childhood when their father built the first
mobile drum-type screening machine in 1975.
Therefore, the management of the Terra Select company stands for many years of experience in the recycling industriy, especially in the field of
screening and separation of material mixtures. As a very flexible medium-sized company, it is their aim to offer the best solution to every customer.
